  • analysis of existing business systems and landscape planning of interaction with the implemented SAP solution,
  • analysis of key business processes,
  • analysis of the scope of implementation,
  • development of specification of the implementation project.

Assessment

We analyse the current business requirements that need to be implemented in the automation process and select a product from the SAP portfolio that will fit best to achieve business goals. Additionally, we conduct functional and strategic assessment. We estimate the budget, priorities and terms taking into account business needs.

Preparation

  • form a relevant team involving experts from our side and the customer’s side,
  • take all arrangements for our teams to interact,
  • analyse the project for possible risks and form the register of risks,
  • prepare the project charter that details the tasks for each of the stages and the outcome.

Based on the assessment, we identify resources needed to implement the project, taking into account the specifics of the industry, tasks and business objectives, the scope of work.

Analysis

  • research and analysis of the customer’s current business processes, which should be covered by the SAP solutions implementation project,
  • preparation of a description of AS-IS business processes in BPMN notation,
  • when the business needs of AS-IS processes are identified, re-engineering can be performed. The target process (To-Be BPMN) is described within the project implementation, which makes it possible for the business to clearly form an understanding of the process and expectations after the implementation project,
  • hold workshops to clarify the requirements and implementation techniques in order to achieve the business objectives of the project,
  • form FIT&GAP analysis of requirements to identify priorities and sequencing together with the customer.

STAGE 3
Analysis

Together with the customer we analyse As-Is processes and describe them in BPMN notation, after which all parties equally understand the details of the processes involved in the project. Along with the analysis, we find hidden risks and possible barriers to implementation and together with the customer adopt an effective strategy for further implementation.

Implementation

  • implementation and adjustment of agreed requirements and business processes,
  • system testing (functional, integration, security testing, user testing (UAT)),
  • smoothing out of processes, elimination of functional deficit, development of manuals for end users.

At this stage, our team implements all the processes agreed with the customer in the previous stages. We do all the settings followed by the testing (functionality, integration, security testing, user acceptance test) to make sure that the planned functionality that we have implemented works smooth in accordance with business requirements. *Implementation means the possibility to implement the project according to both the classic Waterfall and Agile SAP ACTIVATE methodology using sprints.

Our team monitors the correct transmission and operation of the solution. The customer starts working in the new system, usually starting from a new financial or calendar year. We support decisions and help the customer in case of questions.
